3 1/2"h x 5 7/8"w black and white landscape oriented photo of the landscape near Point Lookout. The accompanying sheet said the water tower had a 50,000 gallon capacity to serve the large hotel and nearby cottages seen in the distance. A road lined with power poles bisected the image. The photographer was a considerable distance from the tower. ******************************************************************** Text on the verso handwritten in pencil "[illegible word] from Fort to Lighthouse" and stamped in black ink "977" and typed on an accompanying sheet: "Point Lookout in St. Mary's County, Maryland, showing elevated water tank of 50,000 gallons capacity.
