Political rally at Porto BelloEntry/Object ID
1995.001.1720Description
No information was provided about this sepia-tone 6 5/8"h x 9 1/2"w photo of a large group of men out in a field at Porto Bello. The St. Mary's River is visible on the right. There are at least two large tables set up in the field that are probably for opening and serving oysters and crabs; the guests seem to be falling to. Some of the guests are wearing paper party hats such as the ones found in party crackers. I am fairly sure this is a political rally; it may be for J. Allan Coad who eventually was a member of the Maryland Senate. Many people were moving, so this is an indistinct photo.
