Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Porto Bello on St. Mary's River near Drayden. This view shows the two story main house, a two story addition and a low one story addition on that. It has a gambrel roof with a pair of outside end chimneys on the left and a pair of chimneys on the right that have been swallowed by the addition. A lightning rod is installed on the left stack of the far set of chimneys. At the roof peak in the main house is a vent panel of some kind. The roof peak of the addition on the right is not quite to the roof peak of the main house. There is a vent stack along that line. There are three dormers at the roof break of the main house and two visible dormers in the addition. There is a dark pripe or vent stack just to the left of the middle dormer of the main house. The windows in the main house are six over six double hung and the windows in the addition are two over two. A shed roof covers a five bay screened porch on the main house. There is a solid railing around the bottom and then four equal panels of screening above that. There is a door in the center bay with a soldi square on the bottom and a large rectangular screen above it with a two light glass transom above. There are two rectangular lights of screen on each side of the door. The first floor of the addition is not visible because a further addition with a shed roof has been added to it. There are six or seven courses of brick from the ground up and then three large two over two windows are set into some sort of wall. There is a door on the right with a small concrete pad and a sidewalk leading toward the camera.
