Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Porto Bello on St. Mary's River near Drayden. This view shows the two story main house. It has a gambrel roof with a pair of inside end chimneys on the left and a pair of outside end chimneys on the right. The tops of all four chimneys have small brick posts on the corners of the corbel that support a flat cover over the stack. Three dormers with two over two windows are visible at the break in the roofline. A shed roof covers a porch that runs the entire length of the first floor of the house. There is a railing around the entire porch and there are three porch bays open and two screened with nine openings. The porch is three steps above the ground and dark lattice work covers the opening under the porch. There are two nine over nine windows with shutters and a central door with a four light transom on the open part of the porch. There is a door to the screened section of the porch that has a square opening on the bottom, a small horizontal opening just below the knob and a large rectangular opening above the knob. There is a small "transom" opening above the door. The screening obscures all details behind it.
