Sepia tone landscape oriented photo 4 3/4"w x 3 1/2"h mounted on heavy umber/gray board. The photographer is not identified. The camera was pointed straight at the center of an ancient gable roofed barn. The barn was roofed in cedar shakes and had clapboard sides. There was a center door of about 7' in height and probably somewhat wider than a standard house door. An adult male had his hand on the door preparatory to opening it. There were shed roof additions on each gable end of the building. The one on the right had a small door up near the peak. There was dark fencing in the mid-ground of the photo. No gate is visible, so the opening must have been for a road to the barn.
