Porto Bello house west endEntry/Object ID
1971.003.0083Description
Sepia tone landscape oriented photo 4 3/4"w x 3 1/2"h mounted on heavy umber/gray board. Sadly, the image is quite washed out, so some details are lost. This is the west end of Porto Bello. I think the house has a gambrel roof. There is a single double hung window visible on the upper floor and a door with three small windows visible on the lower floor. On the right is a closed end shed roof multi bay porch with a white railing. It may be screened. To the left is a very low single story addition. The roof may be a slightly sloped gable. There are two windows visible; one has an awning. There are medium sized trees in the foreground. Just to the right of center there is some sort of hut or pile of tree branches between two tree trunks.
