Description

Sepia tone landscape oriented photo 4 5/8"w x 3"h. This was a view from the beach at low tide of the wharf buildings at Porto Bello. Both buildings appeared to have shake roofs. The gable roof building on the left had a large central door and looked for all the world like a barn. The pier began at the barn and headed out into the river. The building on the right was not as visible. It may have had a livestock pen on its gable end. There were half dead trees on the top of the bank and completely dead trees at the bottom. Text typed on the verso: "Old store and warehouse near wharf at Porto Bello, Md."
