Postcard of Llanrwst BridgeEntry/Object ID
2014.013.0176Description
This is another postcard with a colored photo of Llanrwst Bridge in Tu Hwnt i'r Bont. The time of day in this photo is nearing sunset. The left side of the photo has the bridge proper. In the midground there is a number of people playing in the river. Behind them on the shore furthest away is the same building in Llanrwst that provides refreshments. Finally, near the top of the photo are the scenic rolling hills.
On the back of the postcard in the bottom left corner is a bit of history on Llanrwst Bridge and Tu Hwnt i'r Bont. It talks about how the bridge was built in the seventeenth century and spans across the River Conway. It also mentions that Tu Hwnt i'r Bont is the building on the furthest shore and that its name means "Beyond the Bridge".Collection
