Black and white 2 3/4"h x 4 1/2"w landscape orientation snapshot of a long curving shoreline, probably north from Point Lookout on the Potomac river side. It was a very windy day, with whitecaps and waves on the water. There was a considerable collection of stones, shells and weeds lining the shore. This photo was one of four snapshots tucked into a 1923 Automobile Association of America strip map of the road from Washington, D.C. to Point Lookout.
