3 3/16"h x 4"w black and white photograph of Pourtney's Oversight in Ridge. At the time the photo was taken, the house was owned by Dr. and Mrs. Richard Leper. The photo is hardly worth the trouble; there were so many shrubs and vines the house was almost invisible. The main building was a story and a half gable roofed home with a pair of massive chimneys on the gable end. Two gable roofed dormers were visible in the roof with six over six double hung windows in place. There was a window in the gable end also, closer to the right chimney stack. On the first floor, the hipped roof of a deep porch was barely visible. There was a long single story gable roofed addition that began between the chimneys. There was probably a door and three windows on the long side and an attic window and a small window on the first floor of the gable end. Two of the windows on the long side had dark shutters. The middle window appeared to have been installed at a strange angle.
