The Courts were selected to be photographed for a USDA Extension Service filmstrip about self-sufficiency on the farm--grow and preserve your own food to obviate the need for cash. This is a black and white photo. Photo 27. Vera Court presenting the results of her family's efforts to the Cedar Point Homemakers' Club. The meeting was in the community hall in Pearson. It is quite a large room with an elevated platform for speakers. It must have taken Vera a long time to set up the all the jars and charts she used.
