Description

This is a photograph taken professionally of Helen in 1887. The name of the place she got it taken at was called Elliot and Fry Photographers located at 55&56, Baker Street, London. Helen is seen standing to the side wearing her white headpiece, black shawl over a black dress with a white collar and a medallion on a pendant. She was wearing glasses at the time probably to read the newspaper prop she was holding. To her right behind her is a desk with a few books and to her left in the back is a chair. On the front in addition to the picture itself at the bottom it has the name of the studio and the location it was at. Now the back at the top someone wrote 1887 followed by her name. The back also has the studio name and location.
