Scope and Content

1 folder ; 11 1/2" x 9 3/8" x 5/8" This white paper folder has a label on the cover with a logo for "The War of 1812 in St. Mary's County." The inside pocket contains an agenda for a meeting on June 20, 2013. Carolyn Laray, Tourism Manager for the county, presented the event in the regional context, planning to that point, proposed committees, core responsibilities, etc., and Sue Kullen's card. In the other pocket was an e-mail announcing the meeting, a list of sponsoring partners, committee members, a project budget, 13 sheets of grant application, 2 page list of events by day, a copy of the listing of Raiders & Invaders on the StarSpangled 200 web site, 5 sheets listing committees and their chairs and potential responsibilities, a list of deadlines in 2 month blocs, 12 sheets of budget breakdowns, 1 copy of the coated paper tri-fold rack card of the War of 1812 Travel Map and Guide Loose in the folder were 11 sheets of paper copies of PowerPoint slides about the war, an agenda for a meeting of November 17, 2011 for early planning, 3 pages of briefing paper listing all the meetings held between November 2009 and October 11, 2011, a timetable for the actual war, a list of War of 1812 events in southern Maryland prepared by the Heritage Area Consortium, a full color map of the War of 1812 water trail in St. Mary's and Calvert counties, a full color map of the Star-Spangled Banner scenic byway, a map focused on the Sotterley area, 3 sheets of a copy of the petition sent to President Madison by St. Mary's County farmers, 8 sheets of a questionnaire about historic preservation in the county, list of names, addresses, and e-mails of all committee members
