This book covers the Fall term 1865 to Winter term 1874. One page of instructions and one page of rules is followed by pages ruled off into five-day weeks with a statistical summary section on the right side. A pair of pages was sufficient for a term unless there were more than thirty-three students. Student census in this school varied from a low of twelve to as many as thirty-three. In the Winter term of 1866, the school number changed from eighteen in the second Commissioner District to seven in the third Commissioner District.
Regina Hammett identified district 3, school 7 as the Compton or Newtown school.
