This book covers the Winter term 1866 to Summer term 1874. The page of instructions and a page of rules are followed by a list of pupils vaccinated dated February 6, 1873. The attendance pages are ruled off into five-day weeks with a listing of subjects taught on the right side. A pair of pages was sufficient for a term unless there were more than thirty-three students, which rarely happened in this school. The page of instruction identifies this register as the one for Commissioner District 5, School no. 1, but the attendance pages for 1866-Dec. 15, 1868 identify the school as District 4, School 4. No notes explain the change in 1869.Collection
