This book covers the school years of 1918/1919 through 1922/1923. Two pages of instructions are followed by an opening full-size page listing the students and ruled off into five-day weeks, followed by 5 1/2" pages that continue the five-day week pattern for the rest of the year. The next year begins with another full-size page, etc. The 1918 school year began September 16 with a class of thirty-four students. It ended on June 20, 1919. The next year began on October 9 with a class of fifteen, but no entries were made past February 27, 1920. School began again September 13, 1920 with nineteen students in attendance. The last day of class appears to be June 16, 1921. The next fall, twenty-three students began class on September 12, 1921 and finished on June 16, 1922. The final year began on September 11, 1922, but there are records for that month only; there was insufficient room in the book to finish the year, so a new register was begun. Twenty-one students are shown on the roll. This style of register contains 2 summary pages at the end; the pages were filled out for all but the final year.Collection
