This register has no cover, but does have a Record of Attendance page with space for school and district number, color, county, grades, teacher, and commencing and ending dates of the school year. No entries were made on this sheet for this register. The verso of this page is the first enrollment page: forty spaces are available for listing students by name, birth date, age, and date of first attendance. The continuing pages are 11"h x 4 5/8"w, each covering an entire month's worth of attendance data for the months October to June. Then there is another full-size page with space for final attendance data for the first year on one side and the pupil roll in the new school year on the verso. After the second set of small monthly attendance pages there is another full page for year end attendance figures. There is another mostly white space Record of Attendance sheet with one more enrollment sheet and monthly pages providing three years worth of attendance data.
In this register, nothing is entered to identify the school or teacher. Someone has written (probably at a later date) "1944-45, 1984 days" on the first cover sheet. Thirty-three students are entered in the first roll, with birth date, age, and the date of his/her admission to school. Most children entered on September 11, but a few did not arrive until later in the month. Attendance data was kept until June, although the sheet for February is missing. A second enrollment sheet lists twenty-five students arriving on October 9, with attendance data until June 5. A third enrollment sheet shows thirty-nine students arriving on September 10 and following , with school ending June 14. A fourth enrollment sheet shows eleven students coming to school on October 15 and after with school ending June 14. It is possible this sheet is a continuation of the third sheet.
