This register has a gray paper cover, with an interior cover sheet. It is titled Teacher's Register with space for the school year dates, the school name, number, district, county, grade or grades, and teacher. This is followed by five pages of instructions with the verso of page 5 being the first enrollment page: thirty-five spaces are available for listing students by name, birth date, age, and grade. The continuing pages are 11"h x 4 3/4"w, each covering an entire month's worth of attendance data for the months October to June. Page 27 is another full-size page with space for final attendance data for the first year on one side and the pupil roll in the new school year on the verso.
In this register, the school year is identified as 1955-1956 and the grade as Green Star. Green Star is also written on the cover sheet. Just twelve students are entered in the first roll, with birth date, age, and grade noted. Attendance data was kept until June 5. The second enrollment sheet is not used. Cumulative attendance data is recorded on the verso of the final sheet in the book. "Green Star" is written on the teacher line on this page. Attendance percentage was very high.
