The directions for completion constitute the first page of the report. The data is for the year ending June 30, 1943. A summary of the number of school buildings and teachers is first, followed by a summary of receipts and disbursements in various breakdowns, finally leading to a cost per pupil. There are separate pages for white and colored schools. This book has a few entries in the "Remarks" section. A form which summarized the amount of money received from "entertainments" and how it was spent, a carbon copy of the district's financial statement, copies of its publication in two local newspapers, cautions to those filling out the report form and explanation of figures used are in a separate folder.Collection
