12 p. (15 3/4" x 13 7/8") The directions for completion constitute the first page of the report. The data is for the year ending June 30, 1947. A summary of the number of school buildings and teachers is first, followed by a summary of receipts and disbursements in various breakdowns, finally leading to a cost per pupil. There are separate pages for white and colored schools. This book has a few entries in the "Remarks" section. A card of cost per pupil figures, a working copy of disbursement information, a homemade chart of disbursements, a list of men and women teachers, and correspondence about perceived discrepancies in the report is in a separate folder.
