8"h x 10"w black and white photo of the Riderwood Station. It was a large dark building; its massive roof had many dormers. One of the dormers was the station manager's viewing area with windows all around. There were two well tended sets of tracks. A Pennsylvania Railroad train was in front of the station: a locomotive, a coal car, two baggage cars and a passenger car were visible. All the equipment was a very dull dark color, perhaps a holdover from World War II. The Riderwood sign was perched on the edge of the station roof and a Railway Express sign hung down from another corner. There were several large houses visible through the trees.
