3 1/2"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photo of Riverview, also known as Canoe Neck and The Hermitage. It was a brick story and a half house with a cedar shake roof. There was an inside end chimney on each gable end. In this elevation, there were three gable roofed dormers with six over six windows. There was a central entry door with a small gable roofed open porch at right angles to the house. There were probably twelve lights in the entry door. There was a single window on each side of the door--in this view, dark shutters were closed over each window. There were two chairs on the porch; it was four steps up from the ground. There was a sidewalk out to a metal fence and gate. An addition was just visible on the left.
