Water color by Father Stephen Tushak of Rose Cottage, Leonardtown, Md. It is a summer scene. This white frame story and a half building is set back a little from the street. It has a green gable roof with a continuing slope providing a roof for the porch across the entire house. There are two white gable dormers on the second floor, two large nine over nine windows on the first floor to the left and a door on the right. The porch is fully screened and has a railing. On the left end is a two-stack, corbel capped red brick chimney. Each stack is equipped with lightning rods. There are rose bushes and climbing roses around the porch. Just to the left of the house is the suggestion of a two story house next door.
