Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of the interior of Rose Cottage in Leonardtown, Md. There is a walled up fireplace in the center of the photo with a space heater vented through the stack. A television set is in the corner in front of a small door to a storage space? There is a framed mirror over the fireplace that reflects a ceiling fixture with a glass shade. The molding around the fireplace has a wide band at the top with many horizontal grooves. The mantel appears to be a board laid over the posts on the side of the firebox.
