3 1/4"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photo of Rosedale on the Patuxent River. This large home had a five bay central portion and wings on each gable end. All the visible windows had dark shutters. The gable roofed wings were at right angles to the main building. There were large chimneys on each gable end of the main building. There was a circular drive in the front of the house with a crape myrtle in the circular space. The property was part of Resurrection Manor and was variously known as Orchard Neck and Read's. The final owners gave the property to the State of Maryland in 1971 and it is now part of Greenwell State Park.
