1 vol. ; 9 3/4" x 7 1/2" x 1/2" in a folder Cardboard black and white speckled "Composition" book with blue lined, unnumbered pages. 3 1/4" from the top and 3 1/4" from the bottom is a white label. There are several lines for the owner"s name, on which is written "St. Mary's County Chapter of The Woman's Auxiliary of The Rosewood State Training School. Owings, Md." Cover p. 2 has a box printed for the owner's name and address and class schedule. Cover p. 3 is blank. Cover p. 4 is speckled. Generally, minimal business seemed to be transacted at the meetings. Mostly the women collected small amounts of money for dues, a self-help fund, sometimes called the self-care fund, and a Christmas fund. Since chapter membership was limited to 24, there was often a waiting list of potential members. The women played bridge after each business meeting. Once upon a time, something was taped on the first page, but both tape and item are long gone. Over the next 5 pages, hostesses for meetings were listed.
