3 1/2"h x 5 3/4"w black and white photo of the third Sacred Heart Church building in Bushwood whose construction was supervised by Father Rutkie around 1940. This was a view of the front and left side of the massive building. The front roofline gave the appearance of a gable roof with wings in the center and battlements on the side. There was unfortunate white staining on the brick at the very top edge. A cross was on the very peak. In the center was an area outlined in light stone with a segmented arch at the top encasing a large double entry door and three tall leaded glass windows. Each window had a segment with a pointed arch at the top, a long rectangle, a short rectangle, a square part that could be rotated open, and another small rectangle at the bottom. There were six "layers" of stone arch over the door. There appeared to be four shallow steps to the door. On the left was a round arch space for a bell that was about level with the top of the center window. There were two rectangular windows well above the ground. On the church's long wall on the left was a long narrow window, perhaps lighting a stairwell. Trees somewhat obscured the long wall of the building, but there appeared to be four or five pairs of pointed arch leaded glass windows. There was some sort of addition, perhaps the sacristy, on the back of the building. A large circle of metal was leaning against the building below the bell tower.
