Black and white print 5"h x 7"w of interior of St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church in Leonardtown. The side altar on the left was dedicated to Mary and the side altar on the right was dedicated to St. Joseph or the Sacred Heart. The niches for the statues are very elaborate. The sanctuary lamp that is always lighted hangs just to the right of the tabernacle. Both doors to the sacristy are open. The altar arch frames a painting of St. Aloysius Gonzaga. There is very elaborate woodwork on the walls and ceiling and the altar has four carved pillars. Elevated on each side of the altar is a statue of a saint holding a child. The altar rail is very dark.
