3 1/8"h x 5"w black and white photo of Saint Andrew's Church. Judging by the debris on the ground, there was construction or repair underway. The woman standing in front of the building had on 1930s or 1940s clothing. The photographer was standing just outside a wrought iron gate with spikes. This view showed the front of the building. There were two short brick towers on the corners of the front. There were a small pyramid spires on the towers, but one must squint, because that part of the photo is washed out. There were arched statuary niches lacking statues on each level in the towers. The towers are further decorated with brick quoins on the first level. Two brick pillars supported three windows over a recessed portico. The center Palladian window of some 50 lights was flanked by two rectangular windows with twelve lights each. The first floor door in the portico was further inset into a shallow brick arch. There was room for a transom window, but it was bricked in. On the same wall as the door were two rather high four over four double hung windows, each with a frame of nine dark glass squares per side. The church had two narrow white wooden doors, one of which was open. There was a round arch entry door on the side of the left tower; this was for slaves to climb up to the gallery.
