5 1/8"h x 7"w maroon and white landscape oriented photo of Saint George Roman Catholic Church in Valley Lee. There had been a substantial snowfall. Parishioners were arriving for services, parking their cars rather haphazardly. The church is a gable-roofed structure in a cruciate shape. The bell tower stood out from the gable end to form an entry to the building. There was a double door with a pointed arch transom. Above it was a gothic style window and above that a small diamond window. The belfry had a Palladian style opening on each side and the bell is just visible. The pyramid roof is surmounted by a large cross. There is a large window on the visible side of the entry and four windows on the long side of the building. A chimney breaks through the roof peak behind the belfry. Trees obscure the view of other details. There were two men huddled on the presumably leeward side of the building who were probably smoking. There is a Studebaker on the far left side of the photo and a small storage building on the back right.
