3 1/2"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photograph of Saint George's Episcopal Church in Valley Lee, known to most as Poplar Hill Church. This view is of the gable roofed brick building through the churchyard gates with the tall brick posts with gable caps. There are shorter brick posts between the wrought iron fence panels. A gravel drive wends its way to the door in the gable end. Directly above the door is a round window. On either side of the door is one tall rectangular window. On the long side of the church are five rectangular windows. Just to one side of the roof peak above the entry door is a small chimney. There are many gravestones in the yard and massive trees.
