Saint George's Episcopal Church renovation 1Entry/Object ID

3 1/2"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photograph of Saint George's Episcopal Church in Valley Lee, known to most as Poplar Hill Church. The church was renovated in the summer of 1958, right down to the studs. Mr. Fenwick took quite a few photos of the process. This photo shows the inside of one gable end and corner focusing on a window opening. The gallery corner was held up by two jacks. There was a hole in the floor on the left, guarded by a sawhorse. Some sort of change had been made at the top of the window. Perhaps the man in the cap was explaining it to the visitor.
