3 1/2"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photograph of Saint George's Episcopal Church in Valley Lee, known to most as Poplar Hill Church. The church was renovated in the summer of 1958, right down to the studs. Mr. Fenwick took quite a few photos of the process. This photo shows the inside of the gable end with the entry door. The galleries were held up by a jack and a post. Two turnbuckles were visible at the top of the photo. The two windows in the photo were only frames; the glass was stored away. The window on the gable end and the door had had work done at the top. The circular window was in place over the door.
