Description

3 1/2"h x 3 1/4"w black and white photo of Saint Jerome's. This photo was taken when the house was in a derelict condition. It was subsequently rescued and rehabilitated. This elevation shows a story and a half house with a pair of outside end chimneys on the left and a single chimney on the right. There were no dormers in the roof and there was a failure in the roof near the double chimney. There was a wide center door and an eight light window on the left. A window on the right was boarded up. ********************************** Text on verso: in blue fountain pen "Old house down on St. Jerome's Point St. Mary's Co., Md. 1954"
