Saint Jerome's before renovation 4Entry/Object ID
1995.001.2066Description
3 3/8"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photo of Saint Jerome's. This photo was taken when the house was in a derelict condition. It was subsequently rescued and rehabilitated. This elevation shows a story and a half house with a pair of outside end chimneys on this gable end and another chimney barely visible on the far end of the house. Even with the high weeds, it was possible to see a porch on the left, but none on the right. Each chimney had a straight side in the center and a shouldered contour on the outside. There did not appear to be a pent between the chimneys. There was an attic window between the chimney stacks and another smaller one on the right. The glazing was gone. There were no visible openings on the first floor. On the first floor right two windows and a door were just barely visible. Weeds were everywhere.
