5"h x 7"w landscape black and white photo of St. John's Church in Hollywood. This showed the entry to the building with a driveway between brick pillars. White bollards lined the edge of the driveway and parking areas. The bell tower was a distinctive four sided shape on the gable end, with six open sides for the actual bell space. Two of three sets of double doors were visible at the top of the steps with pointed arched windows above. There were narrow pointed arch windows in the sides of the tower and larger ones on the gable end of the sanctuary. There was a triptych of windows above the entrance and pointed arch windows in other faces of the tower. Above that was some sort of texture running to the bottom of the bell area--perhaps fish scale shingles. There was fencing around the bell and gingerbread near the pyramid roof. On the long side of the sanctuary a chimney pierced the edge of the high roof. There were six pointed arch windows along that wall and a covered entry at the far end. A rectory or school building was on the right rear corner of the sanctuary. We have only this scan, not the physical print.
