This is an enlarged copy of an old photograph. This was the northern exposure of St. Mary's Hospital as it was being built. It is a white clapboard two story structure with a hip roof and one gable visible. The gable has two small windows with four over four lights each. There are steps up to a two story open porch wing that covers about half of the building. On the first floor is a double entry door flanked by two windows with six over six lights each and dark shutters and there is an additional six over six light window in the indentation on the right. The entry to the second floor porch is a single door and there are single windows with dark shutters on each side of the porch. There is a window in the indentation also, but its shutters are closed. There are at least four chairs on the porch. A small shed is to the right of the first floor porch; it is probably access to the basement. There are piles of construction debris in the yard and the windows are dirty. The wires for exterior lighting are visible above the doors.
