Saint Paul's Lutheran Church 2Entry/Object ID
2014.009.0103Description
3 3/8"h x 4 3/4""w black and white photo of the old Saint Paul's Lutheran Church. The building may have been stuccoed; at any rate, it was white. In this view, there is a vestibule, a main bloc, and a wing just visible on the right. All of the roofs are gable style with shingles. A chimney is just inside the long edge of the roofline on the left side of the main bloc. The vestibule is single story, the main bloc is the equivalent of a story and a half, and the addition on the right is single story. The double door entrance in the vestibule is three steps above the ground. There is a single two over two double hung window in the vestibule's elevation to the left. The main bloc has a louver near the roof peak and a four sided bell tower of clapboard with a louver on the left, a pyramid roof of dark shingles and a slender cross on its peak. There are three windows in the side of the main bloc. The wing is at right angles to the main building, but it is only just visible in this rather dark photo. On the right edge of the photo is a low building with a high wide roof line. There is a double door entrance near the corner of the gable end and part of a window is visible.
