1 folder ; 11 3/4" x 9 5/8" These forms were used to request Series E savings bonds from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, although beginning in late May, the requests were directed to the Baltimore Branch of the Fed. The Trust ordered what they thought they needed and sold them to the community. The money the Trust took in was deposited in a special account with the Fed. Stuart B. Bennett was the cashier. We don't know from these forms if the Trust had orders for these denominations or it made an educated guess about what would sell. It is interesting to see the trajectory of sales during the war. Is there a correlation between battles won and a surge in sales?
