Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Savona near Chaptico. This view shows a two and a half story house with a gable roof. There are substantial twin chimneys at each gable end of the house. On the end that is visible, the chimneys are straight on the inside and have shoulders on the outside. The pent extends partway up the second floor and has a sloped roof. There are three gable roofed dormers in the roof with nine over six windows. There are three nine over six windows on the second floor, one similar window on the gable end and a nine over nine window on the first floor gable end. There is also a small window in the pent. The long side of the first floor is covered by a full length shed roof porch supported by round pillars. The porch is three bays wide and one bay deep and is fully screened. One window is just barely visible on the first floor behind the screens. There appears to be an open shed roof porch on the other side of the house.
