Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Savona near Chaptico. This view shows a two and a half story house with a gable roof. There are substantial twin chimneys at each gable end of the house. On the end that is visible, the chimneys are straight on the inside and have shoulders on the outside. The pent extends partway up the second floor and has a sloped roof. There are two gable roofed dormers in the roof with nine over six windows. There is a nine over six window in the roof peak, five windows on the long face of the building, one similar window on the second floor of the gable end and a nine over nine window on the first floor gable end. There is also a six light window in the pent. The long side of the first floor is covered by a full length shed roof porch supported by round pillars, but the details are obscured by trees. One window is barely visible under the porch roof. There is a picket fence between the photographer and the building. A window is barely visible on the left of the chimneys on both the first and second floor. The window on the first floor may have shutters. The screened porch is just visible through the trees.
