Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Savona near Chaptico. This view shows a two and a half story house with a gable roof. There are substantial twin chimneys at this gable end of the main house between it and an addition. The chimneys are straight on the inside and have shoulders on the outside. What may be a pent extends partway up the second floor. There is a nine over six window in the roof peak. The brick addition is also gable roofed, parallel to the main house. It has a large outside end chimney on the near gable end. There is a small four light window near the peak. On the long side of the building there is a six over six window, a dark door, and then probably a screened porch. This was likely the kitchen house because the fireplace appears to be huge. There is a picket fence on the other side of the door.
