3 1/4"h x 3 1/4"w sepia photo of two women standing in from of a large clapboard house. There was a small four wheeled buggy and its horse on the left. Both women were in long light colored dresses; the woman on the right had sashes that suggested a Grecian effect. The house was a light colored building with high gables and a large corner porch with two visible bays. There were double columns on either side of the porch steps and at the corner. It was five steps from the ground to the porch floor. The bushes and vines obscured most of the porch. The windows of an entry door were just visible behind the woman on the right. Clapboard covered the first floor, but fish scale shingles covered all the three gable ends. On the first floor was a large pairs of windows with dark shutters; one shutter was open and one was closed. The gable end above also had a pair of windows with dark shutters; those shutters were closed. An elongated diamond provided decoration in the peak of the gable. The next gable was very tall and set back from the first. It also had a pair of windows with dark shutters that were closed and a decorative diamond motif. The roof line on this gable had an angle in the slope to the right. Visible to its right is the gable facing the other way. It had a dark shingle roof. The third visible gable was merely decorative over the porch and also had a diamond motif in its center.
