Show Boat MGM movie publicity posterEntry/Object ID
2008.012.0011Description
It may not be correct to call this a poster. It began life as a piece with a single vertical fold. The outside is in gray-blue tones advertising the movie version of Show Boat. The back of the folded piece is blank. When the piece is opened, it looks more like a poster. A half inch purple banner at the top says "It's the 'Gone With the Wind' of musicals!" and the remainder of the space shades from tomato red to white with lots of color pictures of cast members, drawings, and small bits of text in many fonts and colors.Collection
