One 8 3/4"h x 6 3/8"w sepia tone photograph of a family of children. They are formally posed in front of a fireplace, whether in their own home or the photographer's studio is not clear. There are three girls and three boys. The older boys were in the back, the three girls were on a settee, and the youngest boy was on a low stool in front of the girls. Most of them had dark hair. The oldest girl and youngest boy looked very unhappy. The older boys were in knickers and suit coats and the girls were in dresses and heavy stockings. The photo is too dark to tell what the youngest boy was wearing. All the children are looking at the camera. There was a framed photo of another child on the left mantle. Sadly, I have no idea who they are. This photo was pasted onto some sort of backing, but has come loose. The board is very brittle.
