3 3/8"h x 4 3/4"w black and white photo of Smoot-Grace house built around 1900. It was likely a T-shaped building with gable and hipped roofs. There were substantial moldings and cornices on the eaves. In this view, a chimney was just visible beyond the peak of a hipped roof. A gable roof was on the left. There was a hipped roof dormer with a pair of double hung windows in the front face of the hipped roof. On the second floor gable end, One double hung window was visible toward the back and there was likely another one obscured by the large tree. Around the corner was a single two over two double hung window. On the longer wall of the hipped roof section was a single two over two double hung window. On the front-facing elevation there was a single two over two window on the left and a pair of the same type of window on the right. There was a window air conditioner in the right window. A hipped roof covered an open porch that wrapped three sides of the building for eight or nine bays. On the first floor, under the porch roof, there was an entry door on the left and three windows grouped together on the right. At the left end of the porch was a fairly narrow window. Another two over two window was on the left side of the gable end. The porch was four steps above the ground and was open underneath. There were several large bushes around the porch.
