3 1/2"h x 5"w sepia tone photo of Don Swann's etching of St. Cuthbert's Fortune. The clapboard house was large, with a very tall gable roof, so even though it appeared to be a story and a half in style, it had a large attic. The etching focussed on the gable end with the two chimneys. They were not of the same size and style and were wider apart than most such chimneys. There was a large shed-roofed pent between them with a small square window. The chimney on the left had shoulders, but the one on the right was just a straight stack. At the roof peak there were two shutters closed over an opening. Between the chimney stacks at the level of the shoulder were two tall narrow windows. On the left roof were two gable roofed dormers with pediments and tall narrow double hung windows. On the long wall of the house was an entry door on the left end and two double hung windows in the center and on the right. A picket fence came all the way to the corner of the house. The chimneys were either painted white or stuccoed from the ground up to the roof of the pent. On the right was another single story clapboard gable roofed building with a substantial chimney on its gable end. The stack of the chimney barely cleared the roof peak. There were no visible windows anywhere.
