5"h x 7"w black and white photo of St. Francis Xavier Church at Newtown. This view is of three sides of the apse, a five sided brick section with a pyramid roof. A large brick chimney pierces the roof of the middle section; it probably vents the heating plant for the church. There are gable roof dormers with four over four double hung windows in each of the two side roof sections and six over six windows in the same locations on the first floor. There is an oil tank outside the window on the right. Scaffolding is visible on the left side of the building.
