Description
5"h x 7"w black and white photo of the interior of St. Francis Xavier Church at Newtown. This view is from the sanctuary up to the choir loft. There is an unadorned barrel vault ceiling. A music stand is just visible over the railing of the choir loft. A light fixture that looks like an inverted mushroom hangs from the ceiling on a long chain. There may also be a microphone hanging down to the top of the music stand. There are three confessional booths with dark curtains under the choir loft. Doors on each side of the booths go out to the vestibule; one leaded glass window is visible on the left.
