Black and white photo 10"h x 8"w on heavy photographic paper of St. George's Protestant Episcopal Church in Valley Lee, Md. The church is dimly apparent beyond the graveyard and some massive oak trees. The building is very plain whitewashed brick with a white central door in the gable end flanked by two rectangular windows. Above the entry door is a small circular window. There is a mounded bush in front of each window on the gable end. Five windows are visible on the long wall of the building on the left. Near the right edge of the picture is another small building with an entrance door visible between two tree trunks. There are many visible gravestones.
